Ron has over 35 years of experience in developing successful medical devices and implants. As Director of Product Development for Johnson & Johnson Interventional Systems, he organized and lead the technical team which developed the first FDA approved coronary stent and catheter delivery system. At Ethicon Inc., a Johnson & Johnson Company, Ron lead a team of engineers in developing the processes to manufacture Vicryl sutures, the largest selling synthetic absorbable suture in the world. Ron was Director of R&D for Sherwood-Davis & Geck where he was responsible for the design and development of endoscopic instruments, Lapro-Clip ligating clip appliers, Valtrac bowel anastomsis couplers, and Appose skin staplers.
